Hiking

Depending on the time of year that you come, there are many different trails to choose from.  There is the very well known Pacific Crest Trail, which runs from Mexico to Canada, a short 7 miles away and can take you as far as you can walk.  The is also the historic Tobin Trail that leads through the mountains to a beautiful creek.  Then there are also many trails that are out there for you to discover.

Swimming

Though we are located directly across the road from the beautiful Feather River, swimming is not advised nearby due to strong current and many hazards in the water.  However, just a quick jaunt down the road leads to many perfect swimming holes that are perfect for the whole family.

Whitewater Boating

This is like the national past time during the summer.  If you are looking for some awesome Class III to Class IV water, then you have come to the right place.  Just be sure to bring the camera so that you can capture the moment on film, then post it on the net for all your friends to check out!  They won't ever doubt you again.   

Train Watching

The twin bridges which are the logo of Tobin Resort have immense historic significance to the area.  We are located just across from the train tracks and with the trains coming by every hour, they will not go unnoticed.
